The Red Kite is one of Britain's rarest and most beautiful birds - thousands of people come to Mid Wales each year just to see it.

Once, these visitors could only hope for a glimpse of the bird, but today, thanks to the work of the Welsh Kite Trust the story is very different.

Each of the Kite Country Centres is dramatically different, in location and character. At some you can see the unique wildlife spectacle of kites being fed at close range, along with buzzards and ravens.

These centres, together with Kite Country Information Points, offer you the chance to discover more about the Red Kite, and the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Mid Wales.
